WHO ( World Health Organization) gives the permission to use Chinese Covid Vaccine which is made by a company Sinopharm, a Chinese Based state.
Reports says that this is the first vaccine made by non-Western country which has got the approval of WHO. The distribution of vaccine has been started in China and some other parts of the world as well.
Before this WHO approved vaccines made by other companies like Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Moderna. Along with India, Africa, Latin America and Asia has also given green signal to the Chinese Covid Vaccine for emergency use only.
A data has been released internationally which says that the effectiveness of the vaccine is very uncertain, on this note World Health Organization said that the vaccine has passed the tests related to quality, safety and efficacy.
It is said that the vaccine would be given in two doses to those people who are aged 18 or above.
