The conflict between the two countries over the disputed territory Nagorno-Karabakh is turning more deadly day by day. Although this conflict started years back the recent war-like situation that has arisen within the two countries has become a cause of worry.

So far more than 360 people have lost their lives due to this violent conflict between the two countries. So now the three powerful nations US, France and Russia have decided to work on resolving this conflict. Therefore they have called for an urgent meeting in Geneva about tacking the issue.

In an interview, the Foreign Minister of France Jean-Yves Le Drian has stated that they will collaborate with Russia and the US to find a solution for this dispute. Because it has already claimed many lives and has already provoked a war-like situation.

The Conflict

The entire conflict revolves around a mountain enclave which is being claimed by both the nations. The mountain enclave called Nagorno-Karabakh is officially recognized as a part of Azerbaijan. But as it is under an independent state having a majority of people from Armenian ethnicity, therefore Armenia is claiming the ownership of this mountain enclave.

Thus now the situation has become so bad that it has given rise to a regional war. More than 360 people including armed personals as well as civilians have already been killed in this conflict. And the situation is worsening day by day.

Therefore the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict needs to be resolved as soon as possible to restore peace n both the nations.
