Trinamool Congress workers attacked the convoy of BJP Chief JP Nadda. He was in Kolkata ahead to 2021 elections to check and review the preparation of his party.
TMC Workers Attack JP Nadda
The BJP Chief and the convoy was on the way to Diamond Harbour when the attack took place. A group of TMC workers pelted stones and bricks at the cars in which the BJP leaders were travelling.
They also carried large lathis using which they tried to break the glasses of the cars. Many cars of these BJP leaders were damaged and some of the leaders were injured as well.
This incident has created havoc in the state as well as at the centre as the West Bengal BJP in demanding high security after this attack. Home Minister Amit Shah has criticized the attack. JP Nadda and his fellow leaders like Dilip Ghosh, Mukul Roy, Kailash Vijayvargiya were all present in different cars of the convoy.

After the attack, Nadda gave a statement slamming the Bengal Chief Minister and her party. He said that it was only by God’s grace that they could reach Diamond Harbor despite being attacked by the goons.
He added that West Bengal has become a city with no proper law and administration because of the TMC rule. Nadda also said that Mamata and her party has destroyed the beautiful culture of Bengal.
And has made it a land of goons. The BJP chief has also said that it is high time that proper rules and peace should be restored in Bengal and it is not possible under the rule of TMC because they promote nothing but violence.
Apart from that he also assured that 2021 will bring in a new change for Bengal as BJP will surely come to power. Nadda sounded confident that BJP will come to power after the assembly elections.
