One of the best Indian web series by Amazon Prime, “Mirzapur” has thoroughly entertained us with its two previous seasons. And now it is returning with a bang with the third instalment and we can’t wait!
“Mirzapur” Season 3: Release Date
The crime thriller series made its debut in 2018 and its second instalment was released in October 2020. All thanks to its amazing plotline and all the phenomenal actors giving their best performances it became one of the most-watched series in India.
After the second season, all the fans became impatient for the announcement of another season. Because we cannot get enough of “Mirzapur” ever! And thankfully the announcement came within a few months from the makers!
After an official announcement in November 2020, the cast and crew of “Mirzapur” were all set to commence the shooting but there are speculations that the shooting is at a halt because of the horrific pandemic situation in the country. It seems like we will have to wait for a little longer because India is going through the second wave of coronavirus which is as lethal as ever.
Assuming that things will get back to normal soon we can expect “Mirzapur” Season 3 to release somewhere towards the end of 2022. Let us be optimistic and wait for the makers to announce something specifically.
“Mirzapur” Season 3: Plot
The rawness of this Amazon Prime series is what adds to its USP. So “Mirzapur” Season 2 was full of thrilling twists and action. We saw how Munna survived the fatal attack. We also saw the forceful marriage of Munna and Beena which Kaleen Bhaiya planned apparently because Beena is the daughter of the Chief Minister.
On the other hand, we saw that Beena is against Kaleen Bhaiya and wants him to be punished for his deeds. So we know that in the upcoming season there is only Kaleen Bhaiya and Munna who have survived here. So the plotline is expected to shift its focus onto them.
Apart from that we also saw that Beena finally got what she deserved as she was elected as the CM. It will be interesting to see what life has in store for her next!
