The spookiest series Riverdale to air its season 5 for international fans on Thursday.

It is spooky, it is romantic, it has friendships and it has one of the most suspenseful storylines, Riverdale is one of the most watched and loved shows of all times.

A small fictitious town and its citizens fight their demons and murderers and not everyone may make it out alive. The kids and the parents have secrets and lies and lives they do not want to disclose in order to protect themselves and their families but how far can they make it without the truth being revealed.

Riverdale ended on a cliffhanger as was expected in its last season and is now making a comeback with a new exciting season 5 for its fans. The show has yet to see hat hold ahead for Archie, Betty, Jughead, Veronica, Cheryl and their friends and families. They grew fighting Gargoyles, solving murders, running casinos and making the bad guys pay without realising when did they become the bad guys in some ways.

The show was aired to the US viewers on Wednesday and will be available for the international fans from Thursday on Netflix. The makers made it clear that all the main and most loved characters will be coming back along with Fangs Fogarty and the serpent queen Toni Topaz and there will be more of Drew singing! The new season will also welcome the granddaughter of the famous diner owner Pop Tate who wants to franchise the diner but not all her family members agree with her. Chad who works on wall street and also is portrayed as an alpha male feeling threatened by his wife’s life in the town may cause turbulence in his marriage because of his friendship with Archie.

What is most awaited is who is the mysterious old character returning to the series! Could it be Jason Blossom with whose death the story began or someone else and more unexpected. The show takes off with jumping 7 years ahead and a prom coming the way of the students at Riverdale High, Veronica finding about the iconic kiss between Betty and Archie but what is rest assured is the show is smooth sailing going by the trailer. “When it became clear that we weren’t gonna be able to finish the season, the first thing I kind of did was look at episode 20 to see if we could cobble together an episode from that,” Aguirre-Sacasa told Entertainment Weekly. “Though we actually shot the prom, where a lot of dramatic stuff happened, there were so many emotional scenes with Archie and Veronica and Jughead and Betty that it felt like we just couldn’t quite do it.”

We also know that Vanessa Morgan’s character Toni has been given a pregnancy storyline, which mirrors her own reality.

“Feeling grateful to my showrunner & producers for being so accommodating & writing my pregnancy into the show,” she wrote on Instagram.

“Also proud of my body for allowing me to still work almost 9 months preggo. Now time to have a baby! lol Happy Holidays everyone.”
