Crime thrillers like “Mindhunter” have always been a treat to watch. Its first season came out in 2017 and after two years of wait, its second instalment was dropped in 2019.

Netflix always experiments with the genres of the series and movies it produces. Its experiments with crime thriller series and docuseries are well known.
As a result of which it brought us such an amazing thriller named “Mindhunter.” Both the seasons of this series were phenomenal. As the name suggests it really hunted our minds.
We want more and more of this series on our Netflix screens. So by when are we getting the third instalment? Well, are we doing any mistake by expecting another season of it?
I suppose yes! Because the makers have made it clear that they are done with the series. David Fincher, the showrunner has said that the team is very satisfied with the kind of response this series has got. With that, he also said that at one point in time it got quite overwhelming to manage the schedule and the budget.
Hence they have come to a mutual decision that they are not going further with a series!
“Mindhunter” Season 3: Plot
We have always grown up listening to the dark tales of serial killers all over the world. There have been innumerable cases of bizarre serial killings all over. And maybe a part of us always wanted to find out what made these people turn into merciless beasts.
And this was the question that was tried to be answered in “Mindhunter.” As it involved two spy agents who specifically worked on finding out why these killers killed their victim.
It focused on crimes around the 70s and the 80s in the previous seasons. Although we know that the series is not going to be revived but if a miracle happens and the third season comes we can expect to see some more horrific serial killing cases in different eras and also know the reasons behind them.
