Series with unique plotlines always attract us and “Goblin Slayer” is one among them. This series has a storyline so unique that it has got us awestruck.
“Goblin Slayer” Season 2: Release Date
It was 2018 when White Fox produced and released the first season of “Goblin Slayer.” Adapted from the light Manga novel series by Kosuke Kurose this series managed to gain millions of fans in a short time. And the credit absolutely goes to the plotline and then the execution by the series makers.
Our hearts were filled with joy when on January 31, 2021, the producers announced that they have started working on the second instalment of this anime. This came during a live event aka the GA FES 2021.
Our joy knew no bounds after knowing that Goblin Slayer is returning with a brand new season soon. Now the thing which is running in our minds is that how long do we need to wait for the new season?
Well, the producers have not revealed any information about the release date. Most probably even they cannot predict it this early because the upcoming season seems to be in the initial phase of production. Therefore it will not be ideal to expect its release by this year. We can take 2022 as an ideal time for the release of the upcoming season.
“Goblin Slayer” Season 2: Plot
Animes that are adapted from well-penned light novels are always amazing. And this one is no exception. The story is about ancient mythological creatures called Goblins who came on earth to kill and eat humans and take over the planet.
Their torture started growing more and more when a man-made up his mind to fight them. He is the one referred to as Goblin Slayer. It is his only vision in life to save mankind from these evils.
The first season showed him saving and partnering up with a priestess for his mission. Hence the upcoming season will show them showing their heroic skills together. Moreover, their origin and early life are also expected to be revealed.
