The popular anime series “Goblin Slayer” is well known for its action-packed storyline. With the release of its first season in 2018, it has managed to make a special place in the hearts of the audience, and to date, they have been awaiting the second installment.
“Goblin Slayer” Season 2: Release Date
We know that two years have passed since the release of “Goblin Slayer” Season 1 and to date, the second season has not been released. Few cancellation rumors were doing the rounds.
The fans had already lost their hopes and that was when the production house of this anime, GA Bunko came with an announcement. Yes! During a public event on January 2021, the production house revealed that “Goblin Slayer” has not been canceled.
With that, they also said that the production for the upcoming season is going on with a bang and is expected to be completed soon. Hearing what the producers had to say it seems that our period of wait is almost over. Official sources have predicted that the second season of the series will be out by the first half of 2022.
We hope that this prediction comes true!
“Goblin Slayer” Season 2: Plot
Imaginary creatures who are on their quest to destroy mankind. This anime basically tells us the story of Goblins which are imaginary monstrous creatures who are born to destroy the world.
The first season of the series introduced us to a person who was born to fight and defeat Goblins. Although the actual identity of the slayer was not revealed in the first season his heroic tactics really blew our minds.
As the first season proceeded we saw how the “Goblin Slayer” has been courageously fighting the goblins and saving humans. His life took a turn when he saved a lady priest from these devouring monsters. We saw that both the slayer and the lady priest began to get along with each other and started sharing the same dream of having a world free of goblins.
So we hope that in “Goblin Slayer” Season 2 we will see both of them working as a team in fighting the monsters!
