As per the experts this deadly disease has killed more people than diabetes, kidney failure, stroke and respiratory diseases. The number of people died within the period of 8 months due to coronavirus made it one of the biggest threats to the lives of the US citizens. And experts fear that the death toll might rise in the coming months.
Trump’s Contradictory Statement
We are well aware of President Donald Trump’s casual attitude about the virus. It seems like he is least affected by how deadly the virus is. In a statement, Trump has claimed that more people die of annual flu every year than coronavirus.
Despite seeing all the facts and figures, Trump always tries to prove that COVID-19 is nothing but a child’s play. Now that it has claimed more than 20,000 lives and became the third leading cause of death in the US, Trump has still managed to treat it casually.
We all know that even Trump had a deadly encounter with the virus. And he had to be admitted to the hospital due to breathing complication but even that could not change his mindset.
