China decides to create ‘line of separation’ at everest summit

China had made a decision to create a ‘line of separation’ at the everest summit due to the fear of Covid-19. The mountains are also not safe at this moment.

Everest base camp on the Nepalese side affected by the virus since the end of April. The Nepalese government still have not cancelled the the spring climbing season, usually from April to early June before the monsoon rains.

China Government has not said that how they are to create the line of separation. Sources says that a group of Tibetan climbing guides will help the set the line of separation.

The main motive behind creating the line is to keep the people safe, and to stay away from the mountaineers who are affected by the Covid-19 virus. 21 Chinese nations are en route to the summit on the Tibetan side.
