Amit Shah is Disappointed Over the Discussion of Blocking Namami Gange by the WB State Govt.

Amit Shah was visiting the Kapil muni ashram at Gangasagar. There is a talk with the media persons he shares his disappointment of certain decision taken by the state government of West Bengal. In the due course, he caused CM Mamata Banerjee to block the development project launched by the Union.

He was talking mainly about the Namami Gange project launched in 2014. That was a development approach by the union government focusing on pollution, nature, and the environment. The implementation was successfully accomplished in the very year but stopped by the state government the next year onwards.

Amit Shah feels the state government should not block the Namami Gange project as the union government implemented and launched a huge project for the same. It was a flagship program by the government and was useful for the state.

He promised to work on the project again, once they get the power in the state. Shah also promised to work for the development of Gangasagar and approved the holy place as an international tourist place.

Union minister shares his view on the Gangasagar project. He mentions the mythological importance of the place and the secrecy of the same. The infrastructure of the place is not up to the mark and it should be more developed. He promised to take care of the infrastructure once they are in the power of West Bengal.

He was promising to the development of West Bengal and assured the citizen of West Bengal to get all the facilities and a developed state in all aspects.
