Noted Alia Bhatt, an Indian actress, is slated to make her Hollywood debut in the international spy thriller ‘Heart of Stone,’ directed by Tom Harper.
Though it is uncertain what role Alia Bhatt will play, she will be featured with Hollywood heartthrobs Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. ‘Heart of Stone’ is a Netflix and Skydance-supported international spy thriller. The script was written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder.
“Starting our day with announcing (and yelling) that Alia Bhatt is going to be in Heart of Stone, an International spy thriller together with @gal gadot and @jamiedornan,” Netflix India said on Instagram.
Production on ‘Heart of Stone’ began this week, according to a post on Gal Gadot’s Instagram page. In addition, she said that she will play Rachel Stone in the film.
In July of last year, Alia joined William Morris Endeavour, a worldwide talent agency. The agency represents Gal Gadot, Emma Stone, Charlize Theron, and others.
The 28-year-old Indian actress has been making news in India for her portrayal in the recently released ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ as a real-life mafia queen from 1960s Bombay. The film is based on a sex worker, Gangubai, in Kamathipura, Mumbai, and is directed by acclaimed Indian director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
