Another fire, spread over 19,086 acres, has erupted in the northwest region of Denver, which has been named the East Troublesome wildfire. A portion of the fire has been contained and the necessary evacuations are being done.
Colorado and a major part of the West need to brace themselves for another bout of bad news as the winds picked up the pace on Thursday, ensuing in the fire danger being critical.
6 states have been cautioned with Red Flag Warnings: California, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma.
Strong winds may turn into a storm
Strong winds with the speed of up to 30 to 40 mph are predicted to blow over Colorado and the Rockies with even sturdier winds with the pace of about 50 mph in Northern California.
A storm warning has been issued in the regions of the Upper Midwest and western Great Lakes where a winter storm appears to be moving from the northern Rockies.
It seems like the Twin Cities will be missing out on the heaviest snow this year while a few of the regions could experience a maximum of 8 inches of October snow.
