Tommy Shelby from Peaky Blinders is back in the series with a new season coming soon.

The man is driven by worldly desires ever since time immemorial. Be it the 21st century or back when there were still the concept of kings and kingdom and royalty in society everyone wanted bellies filled with money or a big mansion a sophisticated life no matter what or who they had to trot on to achieve it.

Peaky Blinders was a real story which was made into a fictional tale for most of its parts. The story about a family during the times of the first world war in England belonging actually from Birmingham infiltrating themselves under the leadership of Thomas Shelby into the rich society impersonating and pretending to be one of them.

It is official that there will be a new season to the series after the rocky end to the last season but what is to be seen is what lies in the bag for the audience in the new season of the series by Steven Knight. Although the series may come to an end after this but it was rest assured by the makers that the story shall continue in another form and now that the stake are higher than ever the makers will launch it with a bang and the fans will definitely love it. But for obvious reasons the production stopped thus the show cannot be expected till late 2021 or even mid of 2022.

The new season may probably also have 6 episodes only with the title of the first one being ‘Black Day’. The season five finale ended with Tommy Shelby appearing to lose his mind and poised to kill himself after being betrayed during his failed assassination attempt on Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin) – who has been confirmed to return in season six – by Byrne. The story will pick up where it left off, with Cillian Murphy back as Tommy Shelby, Helen McCrory as Polly Gray, Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby, Finn Cole as Michael Gray, and Sophie Rundle as Ada Thorne with a new challenging character to deal with for Tommy. The biggest comeback was Tom Hardy’s Alfie Solomons, who miraculously managed to cheat the grim reaper. Knight has said that there will be “some surprises in terms of cast”, describing Solomons as “immortal”. But it remains to be seen if he will feature.

Then there’s Linda Shelby (Kate Phillips), who fled after being shot by Polly for threatening to kill Arthur.

When asked if she will return, Phillips told Digital Spy: “I’d like to think she’s going to be around and maybe there might be some reconciliation.”
