Netflix’s fictional series “The Witcher” has been well received by everyone who has watched its first instalment. This series impressed everyone with its phenomenal concept and now it is coming back with another instalment!
“The Witcher” Season 2: Release Date
Netflix never fails to give us entertaining elements in the form of its web movies or series. And “The Witcher” has to be one of them. We witnessed the first season of this fictional series in December 2019 and we instantly became a fan of it.
The best part was that Netflix had announced “The Witcher” Season 2 in November 2019 itself. But little did we know that early announcement did not mean that the second season would release early. The main cause of the delay was the worldwide shutdowns due to the evil coronavirus pandemic.
Thankfully things started improving a little and the shooting started in mid-2020 or more precisely in August 2020. After facing delays the shoot finally ended in April 2021. This news was confirmed by the official Netflix page. With that, it was also mentioned that the upcoming season will be released by the end of 2021.
Thus as of now, we need to await the exact date for the release of the upcoming instalment of this fictional series.
“The Witcher” Season 2: Plot
We absolutely love the amalgamation of fiction, fantasy, drama and action in this series. Our protagonist Geralt of Rivia hunts downs monsters and basically protects his homeland.
After this marks the entry of Princess Cirilla who has a lot of power but is naive and hence can be easily manipulated and tortured by others. Also, on the other hand, Geralt is fed up with seeing the most heinous deeds of humans beings which is more dangerous than that monsters.
After the massive battle, it seems like the evil sorceress Jennifer is no longer alive, at least Geralt and Cirilla have believed so. In the second season, we can expect the Princess to become stronger mentally and physically with the help of Geralt.
