The Way of the Househusband is an ONA comedy series supported by the equivalently named Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kousuke Oono. The show follows a feared yakuza boss named Tatsu, who decides to offer crimes and lead a traditional life together with his partner, unaware of the comic troubles he’s inviting. In an attempt to regulate his new reality, the protagonist’s lifestyle is often interrupted and sometimes made interesting by the constant interference of his old acquaintances.
The anime premiered on April 8, 2021 and impressed viewers and critics with its comedic anecdotes and heartwarming stories. After completing the second part, you might wonder when the show will come back with another season. If this happens to you, you need to go to the right place.
Season 3 Release Date!
The second season of The Way of the Househusband was fully released on Netflix on October 7, 2021. The second part consists of 5 episodes, each with 1,719 minutes. As for the second season of the Slice of Life anime, here’s everything we all know so far. Neither JC Staff nor Netflix have officially confirmed the program’s extension. While it may be too early to mention anything about the second season (part) of the series, the primary season managed to garner rave reviews and overwhelmingly positive reviews. watching the most recent episodes, it’s hard to argue why that would possibly not be the case with the second part.
Additionally, Netflix has invested heavily in anime recently, acquiring the streaming rights to some highly anticipated shows like Komi Can`t Communicate and Blue Period. The platform is unlikely to change its aggressive acquisition strategy any time soon; therefore, the chances of renewing the program are very promising. Assuming the series will be released in an additional installment in the coming months, we expect the third season of The Way of the House to be released in the third quarter of 2022.

At the end of season two, Tatsu enters the market in search of the limited Policure DVDs that Miku desperately wants. But unfortunately they are already sold out when it arrives. Later, a lover asks him to take care of his adorable dog, Kotetsu. the former Yakuza boss and his wife immediately go crazy with their dog friend. During a walk the next day, he meets his ex-rival Kunimi, who is also with his dog.
They immediately start playing with each other’s pets, then go straight to a dog to have fun with their dogs. When the protagonist dines with Masa, he discovers that she has difficulty eating due to tooth decay. Though she tries to cover her pain from Tatsu, Masa eventually confesses that she has been afraid to go to the dentist since childhood.
Tatsu takes his friend by force to the doctor and provides him with the treatment he needs. However, in the dark, he has difficulty falling asleep and can’t stop thinking about the yakuza and a thousand other random things. He then prepares a delicious meal to calm down. But just before falling asleep, your cat wakes up the ex-gangster.
Miku takes paid leave from his company and takes Tatsu to the Bremer Hof, where they will have a picnic and explore the rest of the world. Meanwhile, the former gangster will have an unexpected encounter with his neighbor and should understand him better.
