Petrol prices is rapidly increasing in Mumbai, It has increased over 99 on Tuesday, and diesel rates on surge in international oil prices. The price of Petrol has increased around 27 paise per litre and 29 paise by diesel.
The hike – tenth this month – pushed petrol prices to an all-time high across the country. In Delhi, petrol rates climbed to Rs 92.85 a litre and diesel rose to Rs 83.51.
In different cities in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra the price has increased more than 100. In Mumbai as well the price is increasing. AT this moment the price of petrol in Mumbai is Rs 99.14 and diesel is priced at Rs 90.71 per litre.
In the different states the price is different depending on the incidence of local taxes such as VAT and freight charges. Rajasthan has the highest value- added tax (VAT) on petrol in the country, followed by Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
