Lockdown just gets bearable and bearable with the incoming of new seasons of one of the most beloved series and shows on our favourite OTT platforms.
The creators of the crime series Ozark have made it official that they are coming with another season of the series. The series made a comeback because the last season was a big success. Marty was abducted, tortured, Byrde matriarch was forced to order a hit on her brother for his good; well, we can certainly say that the story came far but it seems like its not over yet and there is a 4th and final season coming up split in two part.
“We’re so happy Netflix recognised the importance of giving Ozark more time to end the Byrdes’ saga right,” showrunner Chris Mundy said in a statement (via Variety). “It’s been such a great adventure for all of us — both on screen and off — so we’re thrilled to get the chance to bring it home in the most fulfilling way possible.”
Jason Bateman added: “A super sized season means super sized problems for the Byrdes. I’m excited to end with a bang(s).”
Well now that we finally know that there is going to be a season 4 of the series it can be well said that the fans got a hint of a new season coming up from what Mundy said in an interview about them thinking of the series to have at least 5 to 7 seasons but then those above him are the one to make this decision.
What is sure is that there will be an appearance of all the dead characters in the last season in the new season like Helen Pierce, Wendy, Wendy’s brother and others. It is safe to say that all those who are alive will definitely be there in the series’ new season like Navarro, Charlotte, Jonah, Darlene Snell, Ruth Langmore and others. To our surprise it can be expected that with Miller having a baby there will be more of her involvement in the further episodes.
Apart from all those who will be present and not the most important question I that the date is not yet finalised by the makers given they did make fans wait a long time for season three considering Jason Bateman’s schedule and the release of the fourth season is also a mystery because of everything that has been going on which obviously affected its shooting. However, when everything got back to what can be called normal in these times the shooting began and a statement as made on the new season. The final release will obviously solve and answer everything left unanswered or in suspense and the trailer will also come out once we have a finalised date.
