Anime has been on the prowl for more and more fans every time a new series/season comes out. The anime series Overlord has been garnering popular support from the very beginning. It is based on a science fiction manga.
The season 4 of Overlord was supposed to be out by 2020, but as all other productions have been delayed due to the coronavirus, the same happened to Overlord as well. We may anticipate season 4 by 2021.

Season 4 Plot

It’s not the case where the show is failing, but Overlook season 1 was more profitable than season 3. The books might be selling profitably, but the series seem to be losing fans.
Although, the social media pages of the anime have a considerable number of followers and people seem to be liking the series still. All we can do as of now is wait for an official announcement by the creators of Overlord to get a clear picture about the renewal of the series.
