A concept as beautiful as “Never Have I Ever” is what the world needs right now amid all the disturbing situations that are going on. The first season itself made us go gaga over it and now it is returning with its second instalment.
“Never Have I Ever” Season 2: Release Date
Netflix’s teenage dramas have always been worth watching especially when it is a series like “Never Have I Ever.” The creator of the series Mindy Kaling introduced us to a whole new world with this series.
Making its debut on Netflix in April 2020. it gave us the refreshment we wanted amid the ongoing pandemic. This series made the audience smile and cry simultaneously because of the touching plotline.
Without a second thought, Netflix renewed the series for another season. And in November 2020 the production for the upcoming instalment began. It is said that the shoot is about to come to an end very soon and then Netflix will come up with an official release date. Even though we don’t have an exact release date we do know the month of release.
Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, the lead actor of this series has revealed that the second instalment will be out in July 2021.
“Never Have I Ever” Season 2: Plot
Devi and her struggles with her strict mom and of course her confused love life. Our protagonist is an Indian teenager who is still trying to handle her father’s sudden demise. On top of that, her mother won’t let her do what she wants and always trespasses her freedom.
Devi is also hit by the wave of adolescence and she is trapped amid a love triangle between Ben and Paxton. Her family life is also falling apart because her mother is in a dilemma on whether to leave the US and settle back in India or live here.
Obviously, Devi wants to be in the US. So in the upcoming season, we will witness Devi encountering the harsh realities of life. Will she accept her fate or fight for it? Let us wait for “Never Have I Ever” Season 2 to find out!
