Marvel

The younger generation has been quite taken with the Marvel Studios movies. The franchises like Iron Man, Captain America and Thor have been in household names since the studio started producing movies around the comics. The partnership with Disney will allow all the Marvel movies to be available to watch on the streaming platform Disney+Hotstar. This is definitely some pleasant news for the fans who were used to seeing Marvel series on Netflix but as they cancelled they will be able to view many more of new series on the OTT platform of Disney+Hotstar.

Marvel at Comic Con

In comic con, Marvel announced that it is starting to produce a set of TV series revolving around the characters in The Marvel universe. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the series to come out but owing to the worldwide pandemic caused by coronavirus, the production has been delayed by a few months. Expectantly, the first series to be released on the OTT platform will be WandaVision.

The Avengers movies introduced us to the characters of Vision and Scarlet Witch but now, this series will be exploring further the story of the two very powerful characters. The actors who played these characters in the Marvel movies will be reprising their roles in the TV series as well. Elizabeth olsen and Paul bettany will be seen with the supporting cast of Kat Dennings, Kathryn Hahn and Randall Park.

The show will be a combination of classic television with the essence of the Marvel cinematic universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision will be living a very normal life, which will soon unravel as a perfect something going wrong. The upcoming movie in the Marvel universe titled ‘Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness’ will also see a connection to the TV series.

“I so admire Kevin Feige and the courage that he has. The decision that he’s made with this show is so bonkers, quite frankly, and really risky and really new and unlike anything we have ever done. It has been — I’m going to speak for [Elizabeth Olsen]; I guess she wouldn’t mind — is it’s been one of the highlights of my career, making this show. I don’t know how it’s gonna come out but it’s been so much fun to make,” Paul Bettany stated at Sundance.

The official release date of the series has not been confirmed yet. We hope to see the show by the end of this year as we absolutely cannot wait! Till then check out this awesome looking trailer release by Marvel.
