Manya Singh Becomes Miss India 2020 Runner-Up
Miss India beauty pageant is the most prestigious pageants held in the country since time immemorial. Last year the pageant could not be held due to the pandemic outbreak. So the 2020 pageant was held on February 10, 2021.
Telangana girl Manasa Varanasi bagged the crown but the show was stolen by Manya Singh, the runner-up of the pageant. And the reason for this is that the girl comes from a very economically poor family with her father working as a rickshaw driver. Manya participating at such a glamorous pageant like this was out of imagination for many.
Hailing from Uttar Pradesh Manya proved that nothing is impossible if you work hard to achieve your goals. She has stood as an inspiration to everyone who dreams big.
After winning the title of Miss India 2020 runner-up Manya shared her struggles in an interview. Manya Singh said that her childhood was quite difficult because her family was poverty-ridden.
She added that every single penny mattered for them and luxury was never an option let alone dreaming of becoming a beauty queen. Manya said that she completed her education only because her parents use to sell their jewellery to pay her fees. She added that after growing up a little she started earning her pocket money by doing odd jobs.
But she never let all these obstacles kill her determination and kept on working hard to reach where she is now. She is indeed a motivation to all of us who think that quitting is a better option when we face any obstacle. The entire country is proud of her as she is the true epitome of women power.
