Popular anime series produced by the TNK “High School DxD” is every anime lover’s favourite. This novel series was adapted into an audiovisual anime series in 2012 with its first season.

This adaption from a light novel by popular manga series author Ichiei Ishibumi, “High School DxD” is regarded as one of the best anime series back then.
With every season the anime series went on proving its excellence. Its fourth season was released back in 2018 and it left us with an endless wait for another season.
Is it going to release any sooner? Well, after a long wait the makers have finally revealed that another season will definitely be there. The delay was due to their other commitments and also the pandemic in 2020. Because initially, they were planning to release it the previous year i.e in 2020. But the pandemic outbreak was the reason for this further delay.
Now if reports are to be believed then the production for “High School DxD” is going on in full swing. And hence we can expect it to hit the screens later this year. Hope these reports are actually true because another delay is surely going to be frustrating for the fans.
“High School DxD” Season 5: Plot
An anime that has everything in its storyline including supernatural elements, romance, drama and action, “High School DxD” has to be everyone’s favourite.
A teenager Issei is attacked during his date by a fallen angel. But luckily he is revived by a good fallen angel Rias. Although things aren’t the same anymore after his revival because he has been transformed into a supernatural being i.e a devil.
On the other hand, he is also developing a romantic relationship with his saviour Rias. Also, Rias expects him to serve her forever but little did she know that Issei is gaining popularity in the devil world as well and might actually become a master of it. But his loyalty to Rias remains the same.
Yuma, the one who attacked him has still not given up on ways to kills him. So the fifth instalment will be quite interesting to watch. Because we will see Issei going on several adventures.
