High School DxD Season 5: Expected to release by 2021

Enthusiastic fanbase for manga and anime has been on the rise for quite some time now. One such anime is High School DxD. Since the show started in 2012, it has been loved and supported by most of the fans. There was no doubt that the show will be getting new season in no time.

Season 4 of the Anime completed in June 2020 and fans have been waiting eagerly for season 5 to arrive. The production studio of the anime – Passione, has been busy with the release of Citrus. Studio has been known to put all its time in one anime at a time.

The creators of the show have been wondering as to what to include in the plot for the upcoming season. Many sources have indicated that they may be taking a little portion of the story line from the novel which will be then adjusted and modified to be made fit for screen.

Plot of the anime

The plot of the series is quite interesting as we see a high school with angels, demons and humans all studying together. Nobody knows the existence of the others and things start to go awry. The central characters go about exploring the realities of the school and the story unfolds further. The last season left us with a cliff hangar and we will get to know the rest of the story in the upcoming season 5.

Release date of season 5

The release date of season 5 will be decided when the studio frees up some time to focus on the storyline and production. We may be able to see the rest of the story in the next installment by late 2020 for by the middle of 2021. The worldwide pandemic caused by coronavirus has halted production and filming across the world and many movies and TV series have been affected severely.
