Gujarat government has decided to suspend the Covid-19 vaccination program for the people who are above 45. The suspension would long three from May 14 to 16 says the government.
Due to some guidelines the government had to take this decision. The new guidelines is going to be released very soon. For the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccination the government is going to make new schedule.
The Gujarat government will inform people in the age group of 45 years and above about the revised schedule soon. The vaccination drive will resume in all the 33 districts on May 17.
The people between the age of 18 to 45 are supposed to get the second dose of vaccine and have received the SMS , schedule between May 14 and 16, will get the second dose as per the revised schedule.
As of now 1.47 crore people have got the vaccine to combat the deadly COvid-19 virus in Gujarat, along them around 1.09 crore people have got to first dose of vaccine and 37.89 lakh others were administered the second dose.
