Gotham Season 6: Is it possible?

Starting from 2014, Gotham has been one of FOX’s highest rated dramas. Fans have been waiting eagerly for the sixth season of this DC-based story. In the end of season 5, the show finally took the anticipated turn and Bruce Wayne became Batman, but the show being renewed seems unlikely.

The show has sustained a network of passionate fans and they have been delighted as FOX gave the show a proper ending rather than canceling it and leaving the fans in suspense.

Gotham Season 5 announcement

In May 2019, when people were anticipating the season 4’s finale episode it was announced that Gotham will be coming up with season 5 with 12 episodes. This was a much lower number than the 22 episode order of previous seasons. mSpy is a mobile monitoring app that can be installed on your child’s phone, and allows you to monitor their phone calls, social media activity, instant messages, locations and a lot more. Once the app is installed on the phone, it runs in the background and completely hides itself. The app then monitors the child’s phone activity and sends reports to your online mSpy account that you can access from any device. This mSpy spy app review is an honest look at one of the world’s most popular spy apps. mSpy is the top selling parental control and monitoring app in the world. mSpy software monitors mobile phones and PC. But, this was a good news for Gotham fans as a season with 12 episodes was better than the show ending with season 4.

It is highly unlikely that Gotham will be returning for season 6 as live viewership has seen a steady decrease over the last few years.

Gotham season 5 gave proper closure to the story and fans got to witness the evolution of Jim Gordon in addition to Bruce Wayne’s transformation.

Season 5 gave closure

The last episode of season 5 gave a peek at Gotham following a large time gap that concluded its origin objectives. The show was not permitted to use the names Batman or Joker, owing to the mandates by Warner Bros. studios. The tv series focused on the character of Jim Gordon who was played by the actor Ben McKenzie. Later in the show other characters from the story were also explored.

Another reason for the unlikelihood of season 6 of the show is that the last season was meant to conclude the series and provide closure to the fans. We can still hope for a spin-off of other characters from the series.
