After the massive success of the first season, Goblin Slayer Season 2 is being anticipated by the fans. The series premiered way back in 2018 and since then we have been waiting for another season.

It has been two years since the fans have been waiting for the makers to announce Goblin Slayer Season 2. But as of now, we have no updates regarding the renewal or cancellation of the series.
We know that the first season of Goblin Slayer was a massive that. So considering that the makers should actually opt for another season. Moreover, the first season left the audience wondering with a lot of questions. And the answers to all the questions is being expected from Goblin Slayer Season 3.
Although after the release of the first season a movie on the same franchise was released. But it was not quite successful. So after the failure of the movie we can expect the makers to bring in Goblin Slayer Season 2.
We can expect an official announcement by next year. And if series actually happen to be renewed then we can expect it to be dropped by 2022.
Goblin Slayer Season 2: Plot
We know that this anime series is about a goblin slayer who wants to get rid of destructive goblins and restore peace on earth. All his life he has been fighting goblins.
The story takes a turn when he meets a priestess in the forest who also wants to fight goblins but she gets attacked by the instead. Goblin slayer helps us and they became great friends.
By the end of the series we saw that the priestess also became a skilled goblin slayer and both of them defeated that goblin king. But that does not mean that they wiped out the existence of goblins from the earth. The story has much to reveal.
If We get Goblin Slayer Season 2 we can expect both of them to encounter some more dangerous goblins. And apart from that, the primary thing that we are eager to know is the real identity of the priestess and the slayer. Therefore we can expect Goblin Slayer Season 2 to unveil all these mysteries.
