Created by Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler “Cursed” is a popular Netflix fantasy drama series which debuted in 2020. The first season managed to create such a hype that it made us crave for another season.
“Cursed” Season 2: Release Date
The series graced our Netflix screens on Junly 17, 2020. With amazing reviews from the audience and the critics the series managed to become one of Netflix’s most watched shows.
Despite that, as of now the OTT giant has not released any notification about the future of “Cursed” series. So should we assume that the series has been cancelled?
Well, all the “Cursed” fans know that the series is yet to reach a conclusion because the first season ended in such a note that it left us wandering with several questions. In a word, it did not have a satisfying end so this Arthurian legend really demands for another season. It has been quite a few months since the release of season one, so we can expect an official announcement soon.
If sources are to be believed then the series has not been cancelled and is still in hold. Moreover the pandemic created major obstacles in the production of many series therefore there are chances that Cursed Season 2 might have been a victim to it.
So it whatever the sources stated is indeed true then we can expect the upcoming season to go on the floors by mid 2021. If it happens then the upcoming season of this fantasy drama can be expected in 2022 at the earliest.
“Cursed” Season 2: Plot
We all want to see our favourite characters Nimue and Arthur back on screen. We totally are in love with our protagonist, the socress Nimue who can literally do everything for the sake of her homeland and its people.
Just like her, we have our legend Arthur who stands by Nimue in her quest. The action and the tactics used by the duo to save their people is something which adds glitters to the series.
We know that Nimue will certainly acquire the power to be the most skilled socress and will be called as ‘lady of the lake.’ But her journey to that is full of thorns. The previous season left us with an injured Nimue who was attacked by her own sister Iris. Sadly we never came to know whether our socress made it to the end or was drowned in the lake.
As per the Arthurian legend, it would be the lake which would give Nimue the power to become the lady of the lake. Hence we can expect the upcoming season to follow this plotline.
