Morocco and China have agreed to expand their collaboration under Beijing’s shared “Belt and Road” plan.
The deal, which was signed via video conference, would encourage Chinese corporations to increase their investment in the Moroccan industry.
The agreement calls for the establishment of large-scale initiatives in technology, trade, and agriculture.
The Belt and Road Initiative, established by China in 2013, is a massive infrastructure project aimed at increasing the country’s worldwide commercial linkages and political influence.
