Netflix series “Bridgerton” has earned amazing response from the audience and the critics. Thus the second season of this historical drama is eagerly awaited. But has Netflix given its nod for renewal of the series?
“Bridgerton” Season 2: Renewed Or Cancelled?
This historical drama made its premiere on Netflix in December 2020 and left the audience craving for more. The credit to its success can be given to the amazing storyline as well as the execution by the entire team.
Post the release of the first season we all were awaiting the renewal of the series and the day finally came! Yes! the series has been renewed for another season. This announcement came from Netflix on January 21, 2021.
But as for now, we don’t have many updates about the release of “Bridgerton” Season 2. As per some sources, the team will start shooting for the upcoming season maybe by spring 2021.
If that happens that we can expect the series to release by the fall of 2021 or maybe early or mid-2022 depending on the pace of the shooting.
“Bridgerton” Season 2: Plot
This historical drama set in the 19th century Europe beautifully tells the story of a royal family called the “Bridgerton” family. It beautifully depicts how Europe was at that time with a special focus on class divides and racial discrimination.
We absolutely love the chemistry shared between the siblings of the family. As of now, the upcoming season cannot be predicted much but as per speculations, Anthony’s marriage is going to be the prime focus.
Because his love life has always been full of struggles and heartbreaks and it will be interesting to see if he finally settles down with someone he deserves. Apart from that, certain other angles will be explored in the upcoming season.
