The Netflix series was first released in 2017 and was well received by the audience. Since then we got three back to back seasons of the series with the third season dropping in November 2019.

Since then we have been waiting for Atypical Season 4. To everybody’s joy, Netflix announced the fourth season in February 2020. Also, it announced that the fourth season would be the season finale of the series.

Initially, the upcoming season was expected to hit the screens by late 2020 but due to the delay in the shooting because of the pandemic the release date had to be postponed. After a long gap, the filming will finally begin on January 13 and is expected to end by March 2021.

As of now, we don’t have an exact release date for the upcoming season. But taking a wild guess mid-2021 can be preferably the best time to release Atypical Season 4.

The comedy-drama series tells the story of an autistic teenager Sam whose the only quest in life becomes finding the true love if his life. But the path is not easy for him as he sees multiple ups and downs.

The upcoming season is expected to have a lot in store for us. In the upcoming season, we can expect to see things getting sorted between Sam and Zahid whereas Sam is still into Paige.

Thus Atypical Season 4 will be full of revelations and we will get to see Sam reaching to a conclusion. Apart from that, we will also get to see a new chapter in Elsa and Doug’s love story after she complicated things by dating the bartender. Being the season finale we can expect the series to have a satisfying conclusion.
