Fans have been eagerly waiting for The Punisher Season 3 owing to the immense success of the previous seasons. The series first premiered on November 2017.
The second season of this Netflix series was dropped on January 2019. And since then fans have been waiting for another season. But the question lies here is that has Netflix renewed the series for another season?
Well, unfortunately, no! Netflix has officially cancelled the series and thus broke the hearts of all the fans. So does it mean that we will never get The Punisher Season 3 anymore?
Nothing can be said as of now but if sources are to be believed then the makers are not done with this series yet. And they are planning for another season. There are chances that The Punisher Season 3 might premiere on another streaming platform. Some sources state that the makers are in talks with Disney+ to take up the series.
So if that happens we can expect The Punisher Season 3 to be released by Disney+. But these are just mere speculations and we need to wait for a final announcement from the makers.
The series revolves around Frank Castle who is a retired marine officer. His life takes a turn when his family is gruesomely murdered by miscreants. The story portrays how far Castle goes to avenge the murder of his family members.
We need another season because the second season did not have a satisfying end. In the previous season, we saw how Frank Castle parted ways with the grifter army. We also got a glimpse of the underground world which had Russo, Anderson and Eliza. By the end, we saw how Castle denied the gun.
Thus in The Punisher Season 3, we can expect to see more of Castle’s revenge saga. Also maybe in the upcoming season, he will finally be transformed into The Punisher. The second season left us in a cliffhanger where we were thrown with many questions. And the answer to these questions can only be found in The Punisher Season 3.
We hope that the makers announce The Punisher Season 3 soon! Because there is more to Frank Castle’s revenge saga!
