Mohamed Nasheed, Ex President of Maldives get injured in a blast

Mohamed Nasheed, the ex president of Maldives get injured a blast. The incident took place on Thursday evening when we has about to get into a car. The local police has said that the bomb was planted in a motorbike which was parked nearby.

Sources says that Australian Federal Police (AFP) force will go to Maldives and help the local police to solve this case. Mohamed Nasheed is a speaker in Parliament, which is considered as one of the most powerful position of Indian Ocean nation.

Mr. Nasheed is the first democratically elected president of the Maldives, he is just 53 years old. The incident took place at 20:39 local time. Ali Azim, an MP from the governing Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) said that this was planned for Mr. Nasheed only.

As of now, the police could not gather any information related to the case. It is reported that along with Mr. Nasheed four more people are injured in the accident, which includes his bodyguards and bystanders.
