The fourth season of High School DxD released way back in 2018 and it has been almost three years since we are waiting for High School DxD Season 5. This anime series has earned massive popularity worldwide.

The anime series was premiered in 2012 and it continued entertaining us with its amazing plotline and execution. But it has been a long wait since the release of the fourth season and since now there is no trace of High School DxD Season 5.

Although the anime series has been officially renewed the fifth season is being delayed massively. And the release is said to be the ongoing pandemic. Actually High School DxD Season 5 was supposed to grace our screens either by mid or end of 2020.

But things did not go as planned due to the sudden outbreak of the coronavirus. According to the sources, the production for the upcoming season has wrapped up and we are getting an official release date by early 2021.

And the upcoming season is expected to hit the screens either by early or mid-2021 and we are pretty excited as our favourite series is coming back after three years.

The main protagonist of this anime is Issei Hyodo who transforms into a devil after he was killed by a fallen angel named Yuma. Luckily he was revived by another fallen angel Rias Gremony only to make him her servant.

Issei finds himself struggling between the human and the devil world. In High School DxD Season 5 there are speculations that Issei might finally make his mark in the devil world.

Also, official sources suggest that the upcoming season will be based on Hero Oppai story. Thus we can expect Issei to heroically help in finding Yokai’s mother.
